The story
Añil is the indigo-blue dye that comes from the Indigofera plant. It isn’t painted on all at once: the fabric goes into the dye, comes out green and, as it meets the air, turns blue. Every dip makes it deeper.
That’s an ANIL woman: she doesn’t rush, and she gains color with the days. For her we create pieces in deep blue over warm sand, with shells and a small glint of gold, like the sea at six in the evening.
ANIL is the first collection-brand under the So Free umbrella. Like everything we make, each piece is handmade to order in Envigado, Colombia, just for you.
